A studio in the Upper East.

I'm Athan, a software engineer from Ghana's Upper East. By day I run IT for a development organisation working across the region; through Athan Digital I design and build systems for organisations that need software to actually hold up: NGOs answering to donors, businesses answering to auditors, teams working on networks that drop.

I build the whole thing: specification, design, code, deployment, documentation. That is why the systems I ship come with the two things bigger shops often skip: a written spec before work starts, and a handover pack when it ends.

The studio works from Bolgatanga. People are sometimes surprised by that. The work usually settles it.

Alongside built systems, the studio takes advisory engagements, currently under NDA.
